PURPOSE: INSTALL WEATHER REPORTING/SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT ACQUIRES AND INSTALLS A NEW AUTOMATED WEATHER OBSERVING SYSTEM AWOS-III TO PROVIDE SITE-SPECIFIC WEATHER INFORMATION. THIS GRANT FUNDS PHASE 1, WHICH CONSISTS OF DESIGN. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH NORWALK, OHIO.
